June 13, 2001 Most of the time I've been here, the skies have surprised me with their beauty. The scenes are incredibly dramatic showing cool and calming coincidences to deep angry confrontations. However, today the skies amazed me with a vibrant array of colors set in a background amid the baby mountains after a rainstorm. Today I witnessed the beauty of nature like the moments captured on a postcard.
June 10, 2001 Here are some pictures of the inside of my house. They are all 600 x 800 pixels, which for some of you may take a while to download but most of you I think can handle it. If they are too big you can always save them and open them and then make them smaller...or complain to me, whichever one works. Look closely at the walls of my room, they won't be that color in a couple of weeks, and if you saw my room in San Antonio you'd be afraid...very afraid...
June 9, 2001 I've been very bored lately. I haven't met anyone my age in person but I plan on getting a job soon so that will make up for it. The weather here is nice but its been raining a lot in the afternoons.
The Drive The drive up here was pretty boring. We left at 6:00 am from Albuquerque, NM where we had been visiting my grandparents. It was a pretty uneventful drive but we encountered some storms in the afternoon, which happens a lot here. Oh, and we stopped at this gas station called the Loaf N Jug...and there was this old fat guy who kept walking around our car when I was the only one standing near it. In the bathrooms of the Loaf N Jug, they had condom vending machine thingys...the condoms were only $0.75 and came in different flavors so I bought one. I don't know what flavor it is, hopefully strawberry...
