For those of you who actually noticed I wasn't online for the past two days, there is a reason why...my modem was murdered. That's right, murdered...in cold electricity. Two days ago lightning struck the ground near our house which sent a surge of electricity rattling through our house. Our poor modem was the only thing not connected to the surge protector and it was zapped. The lightning also caused a light in the garage to pop, messed up the upper right hand corner of our TV, and blew out some of our sockets and our dimmer switches. We just bought a new modem today.
I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth removed today...Friday the 13th...but we found out at the last minute that the oral surgeon we had set it up with is not on our insurance. Darn. Do you guys know how expensive removing wisdom teeth is? My wisdom teeth are bone impacted, whatever that means, and it is around $260 a tooth. That's over $1000 for teeth! Eh, oh well...they are giving me headaches anyway, I won't miss 'em.

Ok, I added a discussion forum but I'm not exactly sure it it's going to work...and I just realized I can't get it to work unless I publish it to a server that has frontpage extensions...which requires me to pay for the hosting...which I won't do. Yeah...bleh.

What is so damn exciting about firecrackers that don't light up and make loud annoying popping sounds?!? The stupid kids in the cul-de-sac behind my house have been lighting those for like an hour now....their parents aren't even out there and they are like eight years old. ::sigh::
